How to delete your account
We keep your information for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app: Profile (tap your picture at the top right), then Delete account. Deleting removes your name, username, photo, bio, phone number, payment handles, push token, friend list, invites and diagnostic records, and stops you signing in. It is immediate and cannot be undone. Records that other people share with you, such as a settled bet, a poker game or a crew post, are kept for them, with your name replaced by "Deleted user". Deletion is blocked while something is still open between you and another person (an unsettled balance, an accepted bet that has not finished, a Face Off with an accepted bet, a live poker night you are hosting, a poker night from the last two weeks that you played in and that the host has not settled yet, a Squares board you are hosting that is still open or in play, squares you hold on a board whose numbers are drawn, a pool you host or hold a seat in that is drafting or in play, or a golf round you are playing in that is under way), because the other person is counting on that record. A pending bet offer (yours or one made to you), a poker night you host that has not started, a pool or a golf round still being set up, and squares you hold on a board whose numbers are not yet drawn do not block it: deleting takes the offer back, calls off the night and the pool or round you host, gives up your seat in the pool, declines your invitations to golf rounds, and puts the squares back on sale. Crash reports already sent to the crash-reporting service carry only your user id and stay there until that service's own retention period ends. You can also email support@stevoapp.com and we will delete the account for you.
